Advanced optical sensor establishes new benchmark for accuracy in vehicle dynamics testing The new CORREVIT® L-350 Sensor produces unparalleled accuracy – even on ice-, snow-, or water-covered surfaces. The lightweight L-350 Sensor, which is the latest advancement in the continuing evolution of the non-contact optical sensor, incorporates advanced spectral/optical filters, state-of-the-art digital signal processing and surface-adaptive illumination.Click here to download a video of the L-350 and several other complimenting sensors at work in a series of wet tests or simply watch the video to the right! New 2-Axis Non-Contact Optical Velocity and Slip Angle Sensor Measures Like the L-350, the new CORREVIT® S-350 Sensor produces unparalleled accuracy, even under the most challenging conditions. Compact and lightweight, the S-350 Sensor can be mounted in seconds. All of our non contact optical speed/slip angle sensors have an unprecedented sampling rate of 250Hz! Our patented CORREVIT® two-axis sensors utilize advanced optical structures, high-speed DSP/FPGA processing and filter networks to provide uncompromised precision, regardless of the testing environment. Using the S-350 Sensor and Gyro, you can also simultaneously measure slip angle from the vehicle center of gravity To learn more about how you can use this powerful new sensor system to accurately measure slip angle, please view our informative application report: English Deutsch |

RV-4 Wheel Vector Transducer enables simultaneous measurement of all wheel positions and orientations The newly refined RV-4 Wheel Vector Transducer enables complete wheel position and orientation measurement in high-dynamics testing applications. This highly accurate system provides a cost-effective solution for measurement of wheel position in three axes, as well as for measurement of steering angle, and dynamic toe and camber measurement. The RV-4 Wheel Vector Transducer can also be used simultaneously with a Kistler Wheel Force Transducer for a complete solution to understand all elements of wheel force and position as shown at right. |

New system enables dynamic camber angle measurement The CORRSYS-DATRON Dynamic Camber Angle Measurement System enables dynamic, real-time measurement of camber angle using two CORRSYS-DATRON HF-500C Ride Height Sensors. This precision system can also be used with a CORREVIT® SF-II P sensor for simultaneous measurement of speed and slip-angle. We now also offer a mounting system (shown at right) that is compatible with Kistler Wheel Force Sensors. Click here to view an informative presentation in which CORRSYS-DATRON and Kistler demonstrate how you can accurately measure wheel camber, wheel force, and slip angle. This presentation is from the 2007 Wheel Force Symposium at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. Special thanks to Continental Tire AG Global Tire Evaluation for their support. |

Optimized methods for electronic stability control (ESC) / electronic stability program (ESP) testing A new regulation proposed by the US Department of Transportation could require auto manufacturers to equip all new passenger vehicles under 10,000 pounds with electronic stability control (ESC), as soon as the 2009 model year. The proposed regulation would also require the feature as standard equipment on all vehicles by the 2012 model year. CORRSYS-DATRON offers an overview of the testing methodology used to evaluate this technology, also known as the electronic stability program (ESP). |
